Honestly, when I signed up for this Institute, didn’t expect to have any fun.
I was so wrong.
It may have only been five days, but it was truly and experience I will never forget. I’m normally not a girl that likes to go out and get mud in between my toes, but getting dirty didn’t faze me when we were doing our activities. I may not have looked too stylish in my wading boots, but I learned more than I ever would have sitting and moping in a classroom.
From holding tadpoles to spending time with new (and old) friends, I truly had the time of my life. As I’m sitting here writing this, I can’t help but smile as I look back at all of the amazing things I saw and experienced at the Sturgeon City Science Institute this year.
